Work keeps us all at home

Aussies are traveling less due to financial and time constraints, according to a new study. Much to the tourism industry’s dismay, even when Australians do travel, it’s for fewer days. The only type of tourism that has increased is that where people visit family and friends - aka, places they can stay for free, and don’t really benefit the hotel chains, car rentals and other we’ll-charge-you-high-prices-because-you-have-no-other-option businesses. Work keeps us all at home

Even more bad news? Fuel puts domestic tourism up in air.
