Tsunami nations ‘back in business’

Two countries hit by the devastating Indian Ocean tsunami have declared themselves open for tourism business.

Officials in the Maldives have said 68 resorts are functioning and that they are fully capable of meeting guest expectations, although some have sustained damage and minor repairs will be carried out in coming days and weeks.
