Industry needs to fight ‘bad apples’

The Federal Government has called on the tourism industry to report unethical and illegal activities in a bid to stamp them out.

Tourism Minister Fran Bailey said “a few bad apples” were threatening the future of the industry.

“We have to maintain Australia’s reputation as a quality tourism destination,” Ms Bailey said.

“Government and industry need to work together to ensure we stamp out unethical and illegal activities which, if unabated, will harm the Australian tourism industry.
