Hostel territory

KATOOMBA, Australia _ We settle into our room, then check e-mail, lounge on comfy couches and grill steaks for dinner. We trade stories and play cards with travelers from around the world. This was life in a youth hostel, the sort of place I thought I had left behind in my youth.
