Careful who you get into bed with … the bugs are back

He estimates treatments in Sydney are up 800 per cent in the past four years. A survey by the City of Sydney found almost eight out of every 10 backpacker hostels in the eastern suburbs had infestations. One national chain of hostels had 5000 infected beds last summer. In Queensland a luxury resort had 36 rooms out of action at one stage.
