International arrivals into Australia reached an all-time record in 2004, with an estimated 5.2 million visitors recorded for the year.
Latest figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics have confirmed 2004 was an excellent year for Australian tourism, with the estimated increase in international arrivals of 5.5 per cent for December marking the 16th consecutive month of growth.
