dsc00585.JPGMMMMMM! I can’t believe it has taken me this long to discover this place. One of those cool little local places tucked away in a hallway of a shopping street- it is AMAZING! Hey Coeliacs! Almost EVERYTHING on their menu is naturally Gluten Free. That is good news for those of you who eat gluten as well- The recipes they use are made in the traditional ways and don’t use flour as a cheap thickener.

The food is fresh, high quality, healthy and tasty. Mostly Curries of some sort, they cater to all eating groups. So far my favorites are the Javanese Beef curry and the Red Duck and Lychee Curry. (Hint- the fish is a bit bland. Creamy, but bland) Salads, Laksas, and Vietnamese pork balls are just a few of the other types of dishes they serve. For desert- Spicy Sorbet…Passion fruit and Chili, Lychee and Cinnamon, Blood Orange, Lime and Mint…Yum! Creative dishes and a funky local atmosphere, NO BYO corkage fee!

Call 9976 5003 for take out. Shop 6 Pacific Point Arcade, 4-10 Sydney Road. It is in a hallway on the ocean side of the street where the Manly Street Market takes place- just off the Corso. Three Ducks up!

a quick one from me as well. i was in manly just the other week and somehow found myself resisting the manly crowded beach and heading over to freshwater beach. there’s a cool little pizza place just behind freshwater beach. THE best pizza i’ve eaten – you have to try their crazy pepperoni pizza’s, its outa this world. They’re on the corner of Moore Rd – ph: 02 9299 0883 – but check out their website it’s go nice pics of their food: http://www.kokospizza.com.au
