Went to the Broncos game at Suncorp Stadium last night against the Penrith Panthers. It was an important game for the Brisbane team if they want to keep their finals hopes alive.
But, true to form, my jinxing abilities were aided by fellow jinxer Ging and the Broncos lost a game they never looked like they would win. The score was 13-6 and the Broncs had some good opportunities to score with consistent possession at the end of the first half, but they just couldn’t break the Panthers’ line.
In better news for Brisbane sports fans, the Lions crushed Collingwood today with 8 first quarter goals that kept the game beyond the reach of the Magpies.

That’s a bit of a spin! Did ya see us? Ha! On the 40 line, just under ‘Crazy John’s’ mobile phones ad - I know, what a name!
Nick, hope to be meeting you in December!!! That’d make it the ‘four’ thing of a hatrick for me! A Quadrick? A Quadrigal [kinda like a medieval song in four-part harmony, but, er, not!]? A Quadism? A Quadonga?! Now that’s sounding v. aussie!

Chris,
I went to drop off a Baliblog t-shirt the other day to a friend at Stadiuam Cafe in Kuta Bali and actually caught 15 minutes of that game.
