Pair wanted over tourist bashing

An Australian holiday turned into a fight for life for a 22-year-old backpacker when he was bashed unconscious by a group of men in St Kilda at the weekend.

The man, believed to be from India or Pakistan, is recovering from surgery after being beaten in what police described as a savage and unprovoked attack.
