The old debate about what to do with the koalas on Kangaroo Island has Sandra Kanck from the Australian Democrats calling for 2/3 of the cuddly creatures to be shot by professional shooters. I’m not thinking she’s going to get her way.

Any suggestions on how to solve this beyond killing one of Austratlia’s signature animals?
Urban development causes disruption to animals all over the world. What to do?
If we value our partners in nature and see their benefit, we need to respect their existence. If we don’t, then let them die, become extinct and experience whatever consequences follow from that.
Dusty, still here, but v. v. v. v. busy on all fronts… chris and ging have started their own commune called ‘the people’… it’s quite spesch and much time is spent ‘celebrating’ the people, sometimes recruiting ‘the others’… mattresses, tea lights [a ging special], gourmet pizza, red wine, good company and STUPID amounts of laughter feature highly…
i do however, have a few blogs up my sleeve, needing to be externalised… in due course…
