The Australian Under-19 men’s basketball team (the Emu’s) have won the junior World Championships in Greece. They beat Lithuania in the final by a record 126-92.
Not bad, especially since you consider they had to not only beat the Americans in the qualifying rounds, but also had to beat them by at least 7 points to make the final rounds. They did so comfortably, 106-85.
Good onya lads. Ian Crosswhite would be proud.
