Brisbane Powerhouse

I’ve been meaning to post about and visit the Brisbane Powerhouse for some time and never got around to it. Well, I still haven’t visited it, but at least I can tell folks about it…

More about the history and the new vision for the structure can be found on the Brisbane Powerhouse website.

One of the current events going on is Ideas at the Powerhouse, a festival of ideas, innovation and invention.

Not at all, Chris, not at all! I mean, I don’t suggest these things with the expectation of receiving recognition in return or anything! That’d make me appear self-important, egocentric, etc… which, frankly, just isn’t my style!

ps. Trust me, Sean, it makes sense - you’re just upside-down over there, that’s all! Stand on your head and read it and all will be well!

All will be well indeed! Many a traveller has begun with a few cold ones for the road, the next road, the other road, the road disguised as a dirt track, the road back home and of course, the road back to the pub again. Phew….thought I’d never get there….and back.
