Uluru, two cultures and Australia Day

The Sydney Opera House or the MCG could’ve been chosen to stage the launch of the National Australia Day celebrations, but instead Uluru was chosen because of it’s significance to both black and white Australians.

Red sand, sunrise and the iconic form of Uluru provided the backdrop to this year’s launch of the National Australia Day celebrations.
