Changes good for tourism

Aussie tourism officials are hopping mad over a new law which could bring backpackers to New Zealand in droves.

Changes to this country’s working visa programme mean from July 1 British tourists can stay and work longer in New Zealand.

Restrictions are also being lifted for tourists from the US and some other parts of Europe.
