Australia to defy US in UN

Australia gets a backbone! SWEEEET. Reps from the country say that despite what big ol US wants, the Aussies are going to vote in favor of expanding the UN security council from 15 to 25 members. I’m thinking this must be one of those “we don’t want everyone to know, just our exclusive bunch of rich, big countries.” Dorks.

It’s funny you refer to the America as “the big ol US”, isn’t Australia bigger? (: Mostly though, I want you to know that we are more like you than not. i don’t agree with everything my govt does, and i can’t control everything my govt does. I am just doing the best i can everyday, raising my kids, living my life, being with friends, and passing along an encouraging word whenever I can. (:

US is bigger…Alaska puts the country over the edge…although I used the term more jokingly than actually referring to size After living in Aus I agree that the countries are more similar than not - keep passing on encouraging words!
