Thunderstorms

I must admit I love a good thunderstorm. I remember as a kid going down to the local school oval in the pouring rain for a game of “slushy football”. We didn’t care about the number of tries scored, only how far you could slide after diving for the tryline.

Last night was a cracker of a thunderstorm. Didn’t arrive over us until around 10:30pm, but the light show was unreal. Would have loved to drive to the top of Mt Coot-tha to watch it all.

Today there’s no rain and it’s very warm again. The only indication that there was a storm last night is the gusty wind that’s been blowing all day.

Whoa - from the Mt. that thunderstorm would be awe-some.

I love a good crack or two also. Sets the blood straight.
