Aussie Homebrew, Part II

Got a phone call from my brother last night. He’d cracked open the first of the bottles of homebrew we’d slapped together a couple of weeks ago.

His report? Nice immediate fizz when the top was lifted, beer kept it’s head all the way to the bottom, taste was palatable but nothing to write home about, and, most importantly, it didn’t turn him blind.

I call that a success and look forward to trying some over the weekend.

You are a brave man to try it now. Should give it a couple more weeks.

Tried some last night and it’s actually pretty good. Very lively with more bubbles than champagne.
